A newly engineered 32-gram adjustable back weight allows players to fine-tune ball flight while maintaining outstanding consistency and distance on off-center strikes.

By positioning the back weight in Neutral, Draw, or Fade settings, golfers can easily adjust the center of gravity to match their preferred shot shape. The result is impressive ball speed retention across the entire face and confidence-inspiring forgiveness.

Compared to the previous generation, the G440 K uses a heavier back weight that shifts mass farther toward the perimeter of the clubhead. This design increases overall stability and places the center of gravity lower and deeper, helping generate faster ball speeds from PING’s high-performance T9S+ face.

Weight-saving technologies play a key role in the G440 K’s performance. A Dual Carbonfly Wrap combined with Free-Hosel Technology reduces mass in the crown, sole, and hosel areas. This discretionary weight is redistributed around the perimeter and rear of the head to boost forgiveness and enhance launch conditions.

The Free-Hosel design also improves face flex near the heel, helping preserve ball speed on mis-hits. To refine sound and feel, a composite crown bridge and internal sole ribs work together to dampen unwanted vibrations, delivering a solid, muted impact that feels powerful and controlled.
